SECTION 1: SHIPPING

1.1.  Budget Furniture Online offer a reliable, economical and comprehensive range of delivery options available to its customers to meet delivery times and cost requirements. 

1.2.  We can ship to virtually any address in the world, except where restrictions on some items prevent the shipment, due to the regulations and requirements of International Laws.

1.3.  When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your item/s and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

1.4.  Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

1.5.  We offer standard postal services for all deliveries unless otherwise stated in the Order. Delivery times may vary according to Order size and delivery location.

1.6.¬†¬†We¬†cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers because they’re usually too small to accept most of the items we sell. Most of our goods are delivered by courier or specialist carrier directly to your door and require a signature upon delivery.

1.7.  Budget Furniture Online does not offer an Overnight Delivery Service or Pick Ups.

1.8.  We deliver to a ground floor only. If the delivery is in a multi-story building the courier or delivery company will not travel past the ground floor and/or front door.

1.9.  We may accidentally ship the wrong item to you. If you have received an incorrect item, let us know as soon as you can within 3 business days of receiving your delivery. We will offer to send you the correct item and arrange for the pick up and return of the incorrectly shipped item at no cost to you.

1.10.  We reserve the right to refuse delivery to specific locations for items we deem at high risk of loss or damage, and also areas that are inaccessible with standard courier and delivery services. In this case, you may choose to have an item delivered using your own couriers, in which case all insurance for loss or damage to the order caused by the delivery will be your responsibility.

SECTION 2: DELIVERY FAILURE

2.1.  It is important that you verify your information is correct before placing your order, especially your delivery address. If the address provided is incorrect and the package is returned, you will be billed for the additional shipping charges in order for your delivery to reach you. You agree to this by placing an order with us, we reserve the right to pass on applicable charges to you if you provide wrong address information.

2.2.  We also require a contact phone number, which may be used by the courier to arrange delivery. If we and our delivery partner have been unable to deliver your order due to your error or fault after 21 days or 2 attempts (whichever is sooner), we reserve the right to cancel your order. In these circumstances we will refund you the price of your order, less the delivery and handling fees incurred by us.

SECTION 3: RETURNS

3.1.  Budget Furniture Online will afford a reasonable opportunity of 7 days to its customers to examine goods for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not they conform to the purchase order.

3.2.  The customer must alert Budget Furniture Online customer care team within a period of 7 days from the date of delivery, to provide us with the evidence of non-fulfilment in the following situations:

  1. Shipment of wrong/damaged products
  2. Short shipment of products from a consignment
  3. Missing cartons from multiple carton consignments

3.3.  When returning purchase orders, please contact our customer service team for guidance and instructions on the returns process by phone 1300 755 057 or email support@budgetfurnitureonline.com. 

3.4.¬†¬†Items returned must be in ‘as-new’ condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged, washed or laundered any of the items. Please return items secured in their original packaging. If you cannot return an item ‘as new’ in its original packaging, a handling and restocking fee may apply up to 20% of the value of the item.

3.5.  Non-returnable items excluded from all change of mind returns include:

  1. Products described as “Bulky Items”
  2. Mattresses, bedding, pillows and sofa covers
  3. All forms of clearance stock
  4. Sale and Clearance items
  5. Personalised items
  6. Gift Cards
  7. Orders for commercial or non-domestic use

3.6.  We will provide a Return Authorisation Form, upon the authorisation of our Returns Department. 

3.7.  A request for a Return Authorisation Form can be made by contacting our customer service team.  Returns can not be processed without a Return Authorisation Form. 

3.8.  All products returned for credit, will be at the expense of the customer unless stated otherwise by Budget Furniture Online customer care team, and must be in original, unopened condition with all seals intact. Opened, damaged or soiled product will not be accepted for credit.

3.9.  We recommend that products returned by post should be sent by a registered or certified courier, shipping, or carrier company.

3.10.  Budget Furniture Online accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to items occurring in transit, and reserve the right not to affect any Third Party deliveries.
